So how do i do this? I've saved my files in UTF-8 with XMLSpy an they are correct. My output is not correct. Are there any more steps here where i can check the bytes? Before and after transformation are the only ones that i know about. Now it's time to move back a level to the previous item to handle the content. Work backwards (or forwards from the start) checking the bytes at each point. The learning curve for solving encoding issues is very steep, but once you are at the top everythnig becomes much clearer. As ASP is involved, I would suspect you haven't set the encoding there and its using the platform default encoding.
