As much as I'd like to take credit for the solution, all I can claim credit for is recognizing that your problem was nearly identical to one I had last week and got help for on the list. (Assuming, of course, that mine was the posting you responded to. You didn't quote any of the reply so that it could be identified.) -- Charles Knell cknell@xxxxxxxxxx - email -----Original Message----- From: Rich_Wheadon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tue, 17 Jan 2006 16:51:03 -0500 To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Delta between 2 xml docs in xslt Excellent post. The solution worked perfectly though I needed to change the dot(.) to self::node() OR self::NODENAMETOGETVALUEFROM depending on where the dot was. I know my detail was sketchy, but the original file would have been much more than I thought the post needed. Thank you very much, I likely would not have adjusted my thought to that approach without your post. (None of my JAVA/XML peers were optimistic)
