inner exception
Hi,

    How would I get the inner exception associated with the exception
classes  TransformerConfigurationException and TransformerException.
I see that there is a method getCause() and getException() in these classes
but they return null when the XML parser throws an exception.

I can do

if(e.getException() != null)
      System.out.println(" error = " + e.getException().getMessage());

but that won't tell me the parser error.

Right now, Iam logging these exceptions to a file but I would like to
handle them at the point Iam calling the transform by throwing these
exceptions.

cheers,
prakash
