xml to xml transform
Please find below the stylesheet. I don't know what to
call this grouping method?

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="1.0">

<xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes" />

<xsl:template match="/root">
  <a>
    <xsl:for-each select="a">
      <xsl:choose>
        <xsl:when test="position() != last()">
          <xsl:copy-of select="*" />
        </xsl:when>
        <xsl:otherwise>
          <xsl:copy-of
select="*[not(self::b)][not(self::c)]" />
        </xsl:otherwise>
      </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:for-each>
  </a>
</xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>

Regards,
Mukul
