this is a faq,
If you have any control over your input it's best not to start from
there.
CDATA is a way of explictly specifying that <table ...is _not_ a tag but
character data. However you do want it to be taken as a tag marking an
element.

If you had instead

<home title="Title Test"> 
    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="3">
      <tr>
        <td width="50%"><img src="/images/logo.png" / alt=""/></td>
        <td width="50%"><p>Text</p></td>
      </tr>
    </table>
</home>

You could do <xsl:copy-of select="node()"/> to copy the child nodes of
<home> to the output.

If you can't get rid if the CDATA then (if your system supports it) then
you can use dispable-output-escaping="yes" (you never need specigy "no"
that is the default) Note that mozilla/netscape/firefox browsers don't
support d-o-e.
