Er, ah, what makes you presume that Chris assumed that this is based on
"U.S. terminology"? He clearly said that he thinks this is "pretty much
standard throughout the world". If you believe that he is mistaken, you
could have just as easily said that you disagree and tell him what you
think is either more common or what is within your experience.
While I am constantly abashed at the arrogance of my government, and sometimes saddened by the attitudes of my fellow countrymen, I cannot help but view your representation of your own countrymen as somewhat negative. Shouldn't we, those of us trying to deal with XSLT as learners and mentors, just chill a little bit and give one another some benefit of the doubt?
