I think that the companies that develop their own XSLT 2.0 processors should carry out their own survey. Wouldn't be surprised if the results of such a survey show even greater developer support and enthusiasm for XSLT 2.0. :o) The main reason for the results of a survey, of course, is how it was carried out. Even with my limited experience in this area it is clear to me that in order to obtain reliable results the sample must be huge enough and quite well randomly distributed. 550 software professionals with whom you have connections (meaning they are already interested in your business) doesn't seems to be exactly the case of picking a large, random and statistically representative sample. Should any such survey by a company that develops the product be regarded as anything independent from their advertising campaign? For me the answer is clear. Cheers, Dimitre Novatchev.
