ant iterate
I am using the standard XSLT processor inside an Ant process in of the
Eclipse IDE (Xalan??). But one reason could be that logging output is
filtered by Ant. In other error situation I get valuable output.

What exactly did your XSLT processor tell you when you made this error?
What processor are you using? I would expect any self-respecting
processor to give you a very clear error message here.
