Hi,

You need to google for 'xpath axis' - a tutorial is here:
http://www.topxml.com/xsl/tutorials/intro/xsl4.asp.

To test for a parent, you use the parent axis:

<xsl:if test="parent::Test">
  ...
</xsl:if>
