   Mmmh... not always easy because of control characters. For arabic, see 
  http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/0600/index.htm.

I assumed that if you can write arabic at all (that excludes me
unfortunately) you would have some keyboard setup that allows natural
typing of those characters. Entering characters by number is OK if you
only do a few but it would be a right pain to enter extended text runs
that way.
