HTML Title Page Customization with Graphics

I'm in the process of trying to customize the title
page and was wondering how graphics are brought in. 
I've been using
http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/HtmlCustomEx.html#HTMLTitlePage
as a reference, but it doesn't mention graphics as a
spec file customization.  Any help would really be
appreciated.
