Perhaps you want something like:

...
<xsl:template match="td[@id='subTemplateHere']">
  <xsl:apply-templates
select="document('./SubTemplate.html')//*[@id='subTemplate']" />
</xsl:template>
...
<xsl:template match="td[@id='componentHere']">
  <xsl:apply-templates
select="document('./Component.html')//*[@id='component']" />
</xsl:template>
