Hi,

If you have control over both XML and XSL, I think it would be more
'stylish' to have only the item elements in the source XML, and transform
them like:

<xsl:template match="foreach/in/item" mode="testrow">
  <tr><td><xsl:value-of select="." /></td>
  ...</tr>

</xsl:template>
