Clarification:

Mix of text and UBB code within CDATA
==transform UBB with XSLT==
Result is HTML

Example of XML:

     <y><![CDATA[This is an [b]EXAMPLE[/b]]]></y>
</x>

HTML Result:
  This is an <b>EXAMPLE</b>
