Seems like the developers of Mozilla do not put big importance on XSLT.

Transformiix has been donated to Mozilla. Nevertheless I can live reasonably well without the namespace axis and node-set(), but it's a pain that many transformations which work well on other processors are dead slow. I wish someone built a pluggable interface to libxml2 (for validation) and libxslt. Of course the memory management and threading problems are somewhat discouraging, beside the need to work around GPL (read: no direct linking).
