 My XSLT will wind up being complicated anyway, but even more-so I guess because I want to differentiate between "systematic" use of tabs (calling for a table treatment) and "incidental" use of tabs (calling for leader treatment). I'm not sure what "rule" I can use to ascertain which is appropriate, but if I can come up with something that looks decent 75% of the time, I guess I'm happy...for now. Sounds like you have a plan. Does this seem reasonable or ridiculous to you? If it sounds reasonable to you, then it must be what you need. My objective was to get you to think about your end result *before* thinking about your stylesheet. Each approach will give you different features based on wrapping and I think would give you an identical result if all of your fields were short. So you'll have to decide based on the long strings, which from your earlier posts hadn't appeared to be considered. ......................
