Many thanks to David Tolpin who recognized a Windows-related issue.

At 2003-12-03 21:47 -0500, I wrote:

<xsl:import href="..\dir2\ss2.xsl"/>

Changing the above to "../dir2/ss2.xsl" fixed the problem.
