Antonio, I don't agree with Linus. He ignores several things: - By his method, you don't have the element's type, so it makes it less readible, especially for big structures. - Linus ignores the option of attributes. By combining the tree structure with both the element type and the attributes, XML is capable of describing an object oriented model. Secondly, one could write an XML viewer/editor having the "naked" view mode of Linus, without the need to change or replace the XML language. -- Amir -----Original Message----- From: Antonio Gallardo [mailto:agallardo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2003 12:41 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Linus and XML Hi: I found this interesting link: http://bitmover.com/pipermail/lmbench-users/2003-November/000076.html in: http://codeconsult.ch/bertrand/archives/000188.html I will be glad to hear your comments about this.
