  This is a usecase for the 'nested' (my term) list Jeni gave?
   Its for Saxon's benefit (and as Mike and Jeni both said, good engineering
   practice), saying that the root element of the document has gi 'invoice'.

   Is that right?

? Jeni listed document, but not document-node() ? Is that an extra?
