Greetings XSLTers!

Here is my situation: I have my Java environment set up (see below) and
am trying to transform an XSLT script into a translet (.class) or jar
file.

My environment (I'm using bash in RedHat 8.0):
export JAVA_HOME=/opt/j2sdk_nb/j2sdk1.4.2;
export
CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:/opt/j2sdk_nb/j2sdk1.4.2/lib/tools.jar:/devel/xerces/xerces-2_5_0:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/bin/xercesImpl.jar:/devel/xalan/xalan-j_2_5_1/build/xalan.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/bin/xalansamples.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/xml-apis.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/bin/xsltc.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/bin/bsf.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/bin/xsltc.jar:/opt/j2sdk_nb/netbeans3.5.1/tomcat406/lib/jasper-runtime.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/BCEL.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/JLex.jar:/devel/xalan/xalan-j_2_5_1/regexp.jar:/devel/xalanj/xalan-j_2_5_1/java_cup.jar;
export EXIST_HOME=/devel/eXist-0.9.2;

Here is the error message:
**************
[root@localhost svg]# java org.apache.xalan.xsltc.cmdline.Compile
multiplectogram05.xsl -j multiplectogram05.jar
