I'm not sure of the flow that is sugested here...

I'll try ASCII art, though it may not make it through a mailer:


       1.xsl
         |
         v
.xml -> XSLT -> g.xsl
  |               |
  |               v
  `------------> XSLT ---> result
                  ^
                  |
                2.xsl

Does that help? You write 1.xsl to read the XML and determine the stylesheet behaviour you want triggered by your 2.xsl. Your 2.xsl can include the generated g.xsl to do the appropriate behaviour.
