Bob,
XSL-FO provides an "absolute-position" property that should suffice. I wouldn't try this going through HTML: it's bound to make you miserable. So, yeah, sure: write an XSLT transform that creates XSL-FO, then invoke an XSL formatter on your data using your stylesheet, and voila! (Sorry, but your question was also kind of general. :-) Cheers, Wendell At 02:32 PM 9/3/2003, you wrote: I need to make mailing labels with absolute positioning to fit Avery label stock 5161, 5261, and 5266. Does anyone know how to do this? ====================================================================== Wendell Piez mailto:wapiez@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Mulberry Technologies, Inc. http://www.mulberrytech.com 17 West Jefferson Street Direct Phone: 301/315-9635 Suite 207 Phone: 301/315-9631 Rockville, MD 20850 Fax: 301/315-8285 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Mulberry Technologies: A Consultancy Specializing in SGML and XML ====================================================================== XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
