predefined entity xsl

You didn't shw the important fragment (the top of the file)
& eacute; is not a predefined entity in XML so unless you have aDTD
that defines this entity your file is not well formed and should
generate an error in any XML application.

If you do have a DTD then the result drprnds on whether the non
validating parser you are using reads the DTD. (The XML spec allows it
not to read the DTD).

Most XML parsers used by XSL do read external DTDs though. MSXMl as used
by IE6 does read the DTD. Are you sure that the link from the document
to the DTd was still valid when you tested with IE?

David
