I tried putting the -Xbootclasspath/p:${JAVA_HOME}/jre/lib/rt.jar But that did not help. The moment Xalan finds Oracle's jar in the classpath it uses the Oracle xsl engine for parsing and it is giving me a lot of errors --Hari Try putting the Xerces and Xalan jars in the endorsed directory or specifying the endorsed directory on the command line with the -Djava.endorsed.dirs= option.
