text line break
just output a newline character
<xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
for example will output one new line and
<xsl:template match="222">
1
2
3
</xsl:template>
will output 123 all on separate lines. Actually the XSLT1 spec does
perhaps
suggest that the above should always make lines ending with ^J (Unix
convention) If you need ^M^J pairs for exanple you might want to use

rather than a newline.
