that's  an element called location

 <a href="http://{@link}">

thats looking for an attribute called link, which you don't appear to
have. Also your source seems to have th ehttp already (and some extra
white space at either end that you want to remove so:

You just want

 <a href="{normalize-space(location)}">


there is _nothing_ special about link attributes as far as XSLT is
concerned you treat then exactly the same as any other attribute.
