xsl test child
Hi,

> what is the difference between:
> <xsl:if test="local-name(//preface/child::paramod)"/>

This will evaluate //preface/child::paramod, take the first node of the node-set, get it's localname, and test if it's an empty string or not.

> and
> <xsl:if test="local-name(//preface/child::node())='paramod'">

Evaluate //preface/child::paramod, take the first node of the node-set, get it's localname, and test if it's "paramod"

> i want to test if the child of the node "prefcae" is "paramod" node.

  //preface/child::paramod
