the methods of specifying a parameter to XSLT are not defined by XSLT
they are defined by each XSLT implementation, so you'll need to say
which XST engine you are using.

Similarly you'll need to say what language or framework you are using
to handle http requests as that will determine the commands needed to
extract the query parameters from a URL.
