RE: performance when using document() function

I recently used the document() function to pull in the output from twelve
similar database tables (as xml) and merge them into one unified output with
an xslt and saw no performance issues, if that helps. My bet is that it is
not an issue compared to all the other ways to do it well or badly!

I have noticed though that moving from msxml3 to msxml4 has halved execution
times in some cases.
