[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] manipulating attribute values within href attribute
Hi,
I have the following xml code <association code="ISS" seq_acc="SP:Q14565"> .... </association I would like to strip off the "SP:" preffix from the seq_acc attribute and embed only the "Q14565" string into my url string so that the final html code looks like: <a href = "http://www.expasy.org/cgi-bin/niceprot.pl?Q14565>...</a> I can get only so far in my xsl code: <a href = "http://www.expasy.org/cgi-bin/niceprot.pl?{@seq_acc}> which returns unmodified attribute value. I tryed with substring within curly brackets, but that does not seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks Vilius XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
