exampls in xml

I would love to know why.

Thanks for the question.

My answer is as follows:
If you start with http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/default.asp
and - after going thru the exampls - you hav further questions
you look at http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/xsl_w3celementref.asp.
1. I believed that all reasonably important concepts are written there:
BUT: "attribute value templates" actually missing
2. the refence to The XSLT elements from the W3C Recommendation (XSLT Version 1.0).
is not linked to http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt11/
BUT: it should
3. if you search around yourself you get garbled by the fact
that the language XSL is explained in an XSLT document
where the language XSL-FO is explained in an XSL document.

With all the obvious complexity to learn (after a while it grows simple)
this added and unnessecery complexity might get you lost.
At least I lost some hours.

Thanks again for the question.

Rolf
