You'd be best off sending questions about XML Schema to
xmlschema-dev@xxxxxx rather than to XSL-List, which is about XSLT.

The W3C regular expressions are case sensitive, so you have to use
something like:

  ([a-zA-Z]{4}/i/)

instead. For the top-level domains, use something like:

  [cC][oO][mM]

for a case-insensitive "com".
