I have successfully viewed multi-megabyte XML files. Available system memory seems to be the only limiting factor. When I have run out of memory I have received an out of memory message in the IE6 browser window, or, occasionally, I have seen IE6 suddenly fail, disappearing like a popped bubble. I have never, ever seen IE6 report that there was an invalid character when there was not an invalid character. -- Roger Glover glover_roger@xxxxxxxxx > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Vijaya Kumar > Y > Sent: Monday, January 20, 2003 1:14 AM > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Problem in loading huge XML file in IE6.0 > > > Hi Guys, > Please tell me what is the Maximum size of XML file that can be > displayed in IE. > I am having huge XML file(about 997KB ), when this file is loaded > on the IE > 6.0 Browser, > it gives an error(Invalid character found in text content). > Please note that there is no such special charater i am using in it.. > How to overcome it? > Any pointer would be a great help. > > Regards > VIjaya > > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
