You have specified them both as being the string value of a file element
but your file element is empty and has string value "".

I think you want the attribute value so

descendant::file/@name

not

descendant::file[@name]

descendent:: can be very expensive, if you know it's

objectsource/file/@name

it's probably best to use that.
