slightly off topic regarding another XML programming language -> there's a new release of ObjectBox and a (not yet complete) tutorial on the o:XML site, see http://www.o-xml.org the new Java Ant task allows o:XML programs to be fairly easily integrated in XML publishing frameworks to provide dynamic content and logic embedded in XML documents. this complements XSL which can then be employed to transform the content. extract from freshmeat: About: ObjectBox is an o:XML compiler and interpretor written in Java. o:XML is a complete object oriented programming language, with features such as multiple inheritance, function overloading, recursive procedures, and much more. The syntax is straight-forward, intuitive XML. It also features an extensible expression language modelled on XPath. The ObjectBox is a complete implementation of the language and adds comprehensive Java Language Extensions and Servlets support. Changes: new features include Java DOM integration (convert to/from DOM objects from within an o:XML program) and an ObjectBox Ant task. also improved core language support and extensive documentation. the download includes an o:XML tutorial and various working examples. kind regards, /m XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
