actually I want to skip this part of my code on page 2 while looping:
<fo:table-cell column-number="1" number-columns-spanned="3">

fo:block>
</fo:table-cell>

Again, this isn't helpful. You are describing an approach again of skipping cells.

Perhaps you can describe what you need as your result, because you have gotten off on a tangent asking about an approach that doesn't exist.

Looking at the "code you want to skip" makes guessing the need difficult:

Are you trying to, perhaps, populate a six column table but leave the first three columns empty on page 1 and populate all six columns on page 2?

Do you want to stretch the width of a cell on even pages by taking away blank cells?

What is really confusing from the limited data is how is the table population controlled? How will your stylesheet know to create different amounts of data for when you want cells skipped? Do you have a different table for each page and the ones on even pages are fewer columns?

There just isn't enough information to help you. Or, perhaps, I'm off on a tangent and someone else can see what it is you need to help you. Sorry.
