xslt process multiple xml
XSLT 1.0 won't do it. I mentioned that there are processor-specific extensions to accomplish the same thing. The only way to do it would be outside of the XSLT process... or two separate XSLT processes kicked off in tandem.

standard. I have seen xsl:output as the standard
neither is the case with xsl:result-document ...

standard XSL.
