XML wont display on IE5

Good day to everybody,
May I ask for some assistance?  I'm trying to display an XML file on these
setup:
· IIS (NT Option Pack 4) (and SP6)
· j2sdk-1_3_1_01-win
· Jakarta Tomcat 3.2.4
· Cocoon 1.8
and somehow, it only works on IE6 and not on IE5.  (I'm concentrating
 at this time only on IE browsers) .  IE6 displays both labels (i.e. time,
location) 
and data.  IE5 displays only the labels.  Could it be that the Cocoon
doesn't
parse the XML file in this case?
