Yes, you would have to do a bit more than just contains() depending on
his data.  I was looking for simple alternatives when normalize-space()
did not produce a match on his data set.  I figured that the original
poster needed more than anything else to see that he could get something
working so that he could get some confidence in his tests, etc.  After
that, I'm sure that he will - under the friendly pursuasion of this list
- want to redesign things.
