If you know Java, you could generate SAX events from your data to make it appear as an XML stream. I believe in Michael Kay's Book there is an example of this. I think he created a SAX XMLReader class that reads GedCom files (genealogy files). You have to use an XSLT processor that can accept a SAX input stream.
