Hi Vinoth, Unless I'm mistaken sprintf() is a C/C++ function. You are writing XSLT. What makes you think that the XSLT processor is going to understand a C/C++ function? You might be able to do what you want by writing an extension function. See the documentation of your XSLT processor. How to escape the characters ( ) " ' so that they will be interpreted as normal text by the XSL engine. ____________________________________________________________________________ ___________ Vinoth iDEN OMC Software, GSG Motorola, India voice: 91-040-3308090 extn:3208 ____________________________________________________________________________ ___________ XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list *************************************************************************** This communication (including any attachments) contains confidential information.
