Dimitre Novatchev said: >Parts of the "critique" are already addressed by FXSL -- higher order >functions, currying and partial applications. >And it is easy to critisize things you don't know too well... part of the initial reason I posted this link was to get a rise out of Dimitre, I was hoping for a little bit more thunderbolts and lightning though. :) On another note I don't know how others here have come to XSLT but I bet for many of us it was from a general xml book which was no doubt responsible for us learning many bad habits(my own experience). I pity anyone that has to debug something I wrote a year ago....then again I think there may be a discontinuity in XSLT coding styles, in that the style of someone with some experience with the language will perhaps be totally incomprehensible to anyone in the beginning phases, while the style of people in the beginning phases may be difficult for people to follow by people who have the experience (as a whole, obviously error-ridden sections of a transformation will be apparent).
