xml sty
If you want to write a parameter into the XML, which is passed from the XML to the XSLT, why you don't write the param not directly in the XML?

example:

<root>
  <param name="name" value="value"/>
  ...
  the rest of your tree
  ...
</root>

xsl:

<xsl:stylesheet>
  <xsl:param name="name" value="/root/param/@value"/>
  ...
  rest of your stylesheet
  ...
</xsl:stylesheet>

Joerg

Hi list,
I want to transform using IE without scripting.
My xml gets a href to the xslt.
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xls" href="myxslt.xslt"?>
...
So far so good, but now I want to pass some parameters to the myxslt.xslt.
Is there anything like a param attribut in <?xml-stylesheet ...> instruction
?
I want to achieve the same goal as xsltproc.addParameter("name", "value");
do.

Thanks.
