FO Problem with large data input

Hi to all!

I'm new to this list and I'm already in big trouble!

My environment:
OS: AIX
Applicationserver: Websphere 3.5.3 (also 4.0)
FOP: 0.20.2
XSLT: Xalan 2.1.0

creating PDFs and using FO is not a problem for me, but if the data - input
(XML stream inside the java application) is too large (480k +), i will get
"java.lang.OutOfMemoryError OutOfMemoryException"

This bug is listed in bugzilla at http://xml.apache.org/fop

Does anybody know a work around or maybe a solution to solve this problem?
