The spec allows any of CR, LF or CR+LF as a line delimiter. During parsing, they are normalized to a single LF each, therefore the XSLT processor does not know what was in the original document: http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-xml-20001006#sec-line-ends

Get a text editor which can deal with it.
