Command line parameter in FOP?

fop parameters
Just wondering if anyone knows if command line parameters can be used in the
FOP command line (like -param in Xalan)? FOPs one stage XML/XSL:FO
translation to PDF is really nice and I want to be able to build a dynamic
PDF based on a user click from a search type screen. I know I could
translate my XML using XSL to XSL:FO (with something like Xalan), then use
FOP to build the PDF, but I want to avoid the double handling.

Any thoughts?
