xpath parent attribute
Hi David,

is the /elem the ancestor-or-self() of the /elem/@attr ?

the elem is the parent of the attribute, thus it is in the
ancestor-or-self and ancestor axes.

I was just asking cause the Information set said that the element can be retrieved using the [owner element] property and did not say anything about the [parent] property.

Thanks,

Christian
