Well, I already knew that ;) The problem is that this is true for a non-existing node: <xsl:if test="SomeNode!=''"> So the value returned must be "something"... You said you get "nothing"... is that the reserved word for a reference to a node which doesn't exist ? Or were you just using it in general ?
