upgrade wd xsl xsl transform
http://www.netcrucible.com/xslt/msxml-faq.htm
is the place to go for information about the older, non-conformant MS processor. Included are instructions on
how to upgrade to the conformant processor.

There are several books on the market that cover standard XSLT. Michael Kay's `XSLT Programmer's Reference'
is very good. It is currently in its 2nd edition. The 1st edition did cover Microsoft's WD release, but the
2nd edition quite rightly discusses MSXML3 only.

Most if not all members of this list would suggest that the old WD release be allowed to die a rapid death
