Hi Mark, > Hi everyone. Is there a way to use the RTF as a node-set without > using the proprietary node-set() function? There's no way to turn an RTF into a node set without an extension function if you have a compliant XSLT 1.0 processor. As far as I know, Saxon still implements the "XSLT 1.1" Working Draft, and allows automatic conversion from RTF to node set. This is something that will probably be formally introduced to XSLT in XSLT 2.0. Part of the point of the EXSLT initiative is to standardise on a namespace for the node-set() function (i.e. make it non-proprietary), so that you can use it without limiting yourself to a particular processor. Have a look at http://www.exslt.org/common/. Cheers, Jeni --- Jeni Tennison http://www.jenitennison.com/ XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
